Ms. Samantha Hamidan is Supervising Attorney with Yunus Law. She is an attorney and fierce advocate based in New York, specializing in immigration and nationality law.  Ms. Hamidan advises companies and individuals in complex family-based and employment-based visas and green card petitions, having successfully secured entry into the U.S. for over 1,000 noncitizens over the course of her legal career. She is highly skilled in advising corporations, preparing and overseeing applications for temporary visas and green card petitions, supporting legal teams, and consulting on I-9 compliance. 

In 2023 and 2024, Ms. Hamidan was recognized among the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch™️ for her work in the field of immigration law, and is also recognized as one of COLOR Magazine’s 40 Under 40. Ms. Hamidan’s clients include journalists, musicians, film directors, healthcare professionals, financial specialists, and athletes, among many more.

Ms. Hamidan attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York, NY, where she was an E. Nathaniel Gates Scholar, a member of the Immigration Justice Clinic, and a staff member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Ms. Hamidan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Georgetown University, is proficient in French, and is learning Haitian Kreyòl. In her spare time, Ms. Hamidan supports her home church on Long Island, NY through its Music and Communications departments, serves on the Corporate Leadership Board for SuitUP, and is active in the New York Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
